We met Scott at the Crystal Lake Home Show this year looking for someone to do a small entry door project. He was very helpful and offered us some great choices. A couple weeks later, when we decided we wanted to do a full makeover rather than just a few doors, I reached back out to Scott. After considering a few companies, we settled on Olson, as we saw the best reviews and value in his quote. We now have new windows, entry doors, siding, soffit / facia and gutters. The products are fantastic. The workmanship and professionalism by the crews was amazing. Scott was in constant contact throughout the job to make sure it was getting done properly and to our liking and staying on track for timing. The project went flawlessly, the house looks amazing, and we could not be happier with our decision to use Olson. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for any of these projects.

With Olson Windows of Barrington IL, the installation of our new windows went extremely well. We needed to replace two large picture windows, one of which required scaffolding because the mounting location was 14 feet above the ground floor. The skilled installation crew fitted the windows in perfectly. They were professional, on time and very friendly. They protected the surrounding floor and exterior walls and then cleaned up the area upon completion. We were also very pleased customer service kept us updated on materials and dates. We would highly recommend Olson Windows in Barrington.

The carpenters came with our window right on time. They went to work taking out the old window/door and resolved any issue of rot immediately. The two gentlemen carpenters prepared for installation of new door. As the new door was being placed in the opening, much consideration was given to every detail. Our new patio door looks great and works great!

After meeting with three different window and siding companies, we decided to go with Olson. We met with Tony. He definitely seemed to be the most knowledgeable and offered us the best deal. He spent a lot of time measuring all of the areas around our house and was right on the money for everything. Tony and his crew were a pleasure to work with. This company did a lot of work for us. They replaced the siding on our house and garage, customized the front of our house, installed all of the windows in the front of our home, framed out all of the windows and doors, and put in a sliding glass door into our addition. Our home is on a whole new level. We are highly satisfied with the work that has been done.

If you are looking to have windows installed in your home you owe it to yourself and family to call Olson Windows in Barrington IL. I met Scott Thorson, a representative of Olson at home show at the Lake County Fair Grounds in Grayslake Il. It was clear Scott was personable, professional and knowledgeable about his business. We took his card and called him 3 years later, he did make a good impression on us. We set an appointment Scott came out discussed what we were looking for and made recommendation he felt would help us accomplish our goals. The team that installed our windows were prompt, professional and did a fantastic job of installing our windows, some of which posed a bit of a challenge. They even did a good job cleaning up after the installation. In short I have to say I have been quite impressed by Olson Windows of Barrington, they give old fashion great service. Everyone I came in contact with at Olson's was pleasant and very helpful. I will continue to do business with Olson Windows, I feel confident recommending their service.

Olson just finished our roof replacement project today, they did excellent work just they did 2 years ago when they installed siding and gutters for us. Tony and Marcos were wonderful to work with, answered all questions. Crews cleaned up well at the end of the day!

We recently had our siding and windows done with Olson. From start to end the process was incredibly easy and our contact through the entire process, Tony, was sure to answer all our questions. Tony was upfront about the possibility of any additional costs that could be involved (we have an old house that required a few additional repairs during the process), and always came to us before moving forward with the unexpected work. They were able to start our house earlier than we were initially told, and the entire process lasted about 2 weeks. The crews were all super respectful of us and our property, making sure to clean up the work sites both inside and outside of the house. We did talk to a few other companies, both local and national, before deciding to go with Olson, and are more than satisfied with the decision. If you are looking to get windows and/or siding done we would highly recommend using Olson!

Olson performed a complete roofing, replaced all chimney flashings and installed oversized gutters / downspouts on our 1960 ranch home. We could NOT be happier with the results. Simply outstanding! Different teams worked on each section - roof, flashings and gutters. The coordination with Marcos Botello was superb - everything happened seamlessly. Cleanup was excellent...not a nail to be found!! If we ever are in need of other exterior work, Olson will be our 'go-to' company, without hesitation.

We could NOT be happier with our overall experience regarding Olson Exteriors. In August 2022, they replaced our ranch home roof, added new flashings and oversized gutters / downspouts...each using a different team that specialized in those specific areas. Their teams worked hard, cleaned up expertly and, most important, their installation was superb. Pricing was very fair considering we used Grace Shield Select underlayment, Ownings-Corning lifetime warranty architectural shingles and had unusual flashing needs. The gutters were the final touch - outstanding. Should we need ANYTHING exterior in the future, Olson will be our "go-to" company, without hesitation.
